Paying Seminarians a Visit

“You don’t know how blessed you are to be born orthodox, in such an amazing country, Romania! Don’t even think about leaving this country!”

“Young lady, If God calls you to be a godly wife and mother, don’t lower yourself to be the president !”

"Young men, when you become fathers of children, no matter how much your child will learn in Church, Church school, Theological School, or from you in words about Who God is, they will take their basic understanding of Who God is from their relationship with you, their earthly father.  If you are soft on sins in their lives, they will see God as not caring about about sin.  If you are hard and overbearing on them, they will see God as an Ogre Who delights in punishing. If you are neglectful and absent, they will see God as really 'not there.'  If you are loving, kind, enforcing certain limits, but fair, if you always have time for them and their cares and concerns and, above all, spend quality time with them, they will embrace God and love Him all their lives."
